Participation is open to students and those who have graduated a maximum of three years ago, researchers, alumni and teachers of the Politecnico di Milano who propose:
- Innovative solutions: proposals for innovation, new technologies or devices deriving from research or teaching activities belonging to the world of engineering, architecture and design, which could have an industrial and/or commercial application. The proposed solutions can be protected by means of industrial property rights: patent for industrial invention, utility model patent, industrial design, software and copyright. Proposals for innovation, not yet protected by an industrial property right and not yet disclosed, and those patented by Politecnico di Milano and/or Research Partners as of 30/06/2018, are eligible for the programme, provided they have been designed/developed by students, those who graduated a maximum of three years ago, researchers, professors and alumni of Politecnico di Milano or related to Research Partners.
- Entrepreneurial ideas: new business ideas, which leverage products and/or services with high technological content, in the form of entrepreneurial projects or startups already established, related to Politecnico di Milano, Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi or related to Research Partners. Startups already established are eligible, provided they have not received any equity financing at the time of submitting the application.
- Both: proposals in both previous categories or proposals that contain business ideas based on new technologies or innovative proposals reflecting the same conditions as above.
Only addresses with the domain @polimi.it and addresses related to Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi are allowed.
